Customised training for emerging leaders at Tāmaki Health

Tāmaki Health, New Zealand’s largest privately owned healthcare group, wanted a customised course for new leaders or ones without previous training.

It turned to the EMA to develop a five-day course of workshops that would help their leaders develop a mindset for innovation and adaptability as well as boosting confidence and understanding potential.

The bespoke Koru Programme created by the EMA and Tāmaki Health focussed on defining good leadership, understanding different leadership styles, time management, emotional intelligence, having difficult conversations, cultural competency, safety management and HR skills.
