About EMA
Mission Statement
We are a membership organization that promotes the success of business by seeking to create the most desirable environment for business and adding value through representation, knowledge and support.
The Employers and Manufacturers Association Northern Inc (EMA) has a key role in supporting its member organisations in growing and developing their business.
This is achieved through services such as:
- Employment relations advice;
- Occupational and workplace safety advice and training;
- Employment consultancy;
- Skills training and education courses;
- Events and networking opportunities;
- Publications, media statements, submissions on proposed legislation and occasional campaigns such as Fix Auckland to improve the environment in which to do business.

Business New Zealand is the national voice of its members - the four regional employer organisations EMA Northern, EMA Central, the Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce and the Otago Southland Employers Association.
EMA Northern responds to local, regional and national government initiatives and with our own proposals.
